The Lost Claymore Quest Line - Walkthrough

The Stolen Claymore Quest

This is a walk-through for the Hallmark Quest line –The Stolen Claymore Quest or also known as Prismatic 2.0. There is several languages that are required to advance and finish this quest. Most of them are listed in the Subquest sections but here is a complete list – they are listed in the order that you will run into them:

Drusaic(Magic), Thulian(Lizardman), Giant, and Draconic (Dragon).

In Her Majesty’s Secret Service:

This quest is given by Highkeep in North Qeynos for those who own the Kingdom of Sky expansion. He is located in the inn, next to P.T.Irontoe.

He will send you to Tenebrous Tangle to speak to Jabber Longwind, an aviak near the entrance teleporter. He will send you to the Hidden Refuge to speak to Murrar Shar (+192, -236.7, +185). The hidden refuge is found by jumping off the waterfall that falls off the near the entrance. He will give you the Burglars Afoot quest.

This quest is the starter for the Claymore Hallmark quest line.

Burglar’s Afoot:

This quest is started automatically when players enter their respective (good or evil) camps on the Hidden Refuge after completing the In Her Majesty's Secret or In the Overlord's Secret Service quests (see related quests).

The first step is to investigate the two tree houses on the first isle (Temple Grounds) of Tenebrous Tangle. The first is near the waterfall that leads down to the Hidden Refuge, and the second is by the Temple of the Soundless Guardian.

Once both have been investigated you are sent to kill the Herald of Dar. He can be found near the Temple of the Soundless Guardian. He will drop a chest and upon examining the note it will update your quest. As a result you need to kill a herald for each person in the group that needs this update. You should wait to kill him until after the Soundless Guardian is spawned, as the Herald assists in this and the Soundless Guardian is required next.

You must then kill the Soundless Guardian. He spawns on the top of the Temple at -112, +74, -112, but will not become targetable until you kill all of the drakes on the temple first.

You must then visit three locations:

- Furthest north point on the Isle of Eyes (Gazer Island / +1000, +467, -125)
- Furthest North point on the Isle of Fear (Fear Tainted Isle / +48, +244, +770)
- A crater grove on the isle of Birds (Vultak Scavenge site / -710, +171, -79)

NOTE: Each of the clues are a ground spawn on top of a corpse there is a 5-10 min respawn on the Clues that have to be harvested and each person in the group that needs the update must get one of the clues.

After getting the final clue you get a playing card. Examining it asks you a total of eight questions, which you must answer correctly to continue. The answers are:

1. Crows Tavern
2. Irontoe's East
3. P.T. Irontoe
4. Kaladim
5. Crow
6. Crow's resting place
7. Fippy Darkpaw
8. Ping Fuzzlecutter

After answering all 8 questions the quest will update and give you a 15 minute timer to "search the evidence at the plank on a Brooding Isle". The plank is on the eastern side of the Breeding grounds at 371, -115, 510

Once you inspect the note on the end of the plank Drippy Darkpaw appears, he is a level 61 ^^ Heroic mob. He has a nasty knockback spell. Kill him and you will receive coin and a key.

This key unlocks the chest at +564, -146, +641, behind some rocks on the same island as Drippy. Opening it results in the Disk of Blyze and Drippy Darkpaw's Note. Examine this disk to open up the Coin Operation: The Sanctum of the Scaleborn quest.

This is part of the Claymore Hallmark quest line.

Coin Operation: The Sanctum of the Scaleborn:

This quest is initiated by examining the Disk of Blyze. You receive this item at the end of the Burglars Afoot quest. You are asked to go to the Sanctum of the Scaleborn and find a use for the coin.

In The Sanctum at 12, 157, -40 you will find The Yore Flame. Examine the flame and you find there is small slot to place the disk.

The Shade of Bylze appears and asks you to find 20 hidden scrolls in the Mouth of the Scaleborn. (You must have already finished the Words of Pure Magic language quest- See below)

These appear by destroying the Idols that are perched up on the ledges all around the mouth of the Sanctum.

These are all easy to find apart from number 14 that seems to be hidden in a dish of dark liquid at +44.1, +158.07, -52.06, after destroying the idol above it. While running along the perimeter of the Mouth of the Sanctum constantly hit tab to target. The idols appear very small and white on the rafters sticking out from the ledge high up on the wall. Tab to target them, hit range attack or cast on them and they will fall off the ledges to the floor where you can harvest them.

The Shade then asks you to prove you are not aligned with the scaleborn and get a number of armor pieces from the silent sentinels. These are frequent drops. After obtaining them you can return for your reward.

After completing this quest you can examine the Apparition Chest to initiate the Vanishing Rewards quest. The Apparition Chest spawns and depops and reappears in the first few rooms of the zone.

This quest is part of the Claymore Hallmark quest line.

 Sub Quest:

 Words of Pure Magic:

This quest is initiated by examining a stack of books in the North Freeport Academy (+10.92, -7, -128.22) or South Qeynos (+707, +82, +127, through the yellow teleportal). When it gives you the option of which book to read select the "Words of Pure Magic". This quest will teach you the language Druzaic, which is said to be the Crown of King Tranix heritage quest.
You must visit four Druzaic Shrines in the Shattered Lands. Each of these warps between two locations. If it is not up in one zone, then it is in the next. They are at:
- Zet Druzaic Shrine - by giant camp near the coat next to earth rumblers in Thundering Steppes. Find the camp with chief giant in it then head southwest follow the coast till you see shrine outside of one rumbler cave in gully (+971, +1187). If it is not there then it can be found at -1605, +48, -1347 in the Nektulos Forest.
- Myr Druzaic Shrine - On an island in the northeast corner of Enchanted Lands (-989, -4, -609). If it is not here then it is in Zek (behind Deathfist Citadel at +14, -39, -866)
- Uzu Druzaic Shrine - Underwater in Everfrost (+500, -107, -1600). If it is not here then it is in Lavastorm. (+86, -32, +135)
- Kab Druzaic Shrine - In Rivervale (-815, -288 near the nightbloods). If it is not here then it is in Feerrott (-1094.41, -0.15, +913.09)

Vanishing Rewards:

This quest is initiated by examining the Apparition Chest after you complete the Coin Operation: The Sanctum of the Scaleborn quest. This chest is a random spawn in the first few rooms of the Sanctum of the Scaleborn.

This quest requires you to kill 4 scaleborn spiritualists and Orate Bozar in the orate chamber on the right as you go in. After this you have to find the chest again and open it to complete the quest.

The reward for this quest is the Tome of Animatus. Examining it will open the Soul Survivor quest.

NOTE: You can initiate this quest without doing the rest in the series, but you will receive no reward unless you have done the previous quests.

This quest is part of the Claymore Hallmark quest line.

Soul Survivor:

This quest is initiated by examining The Tome of Animatus. This item is rewarded to you at the end of the Vanishing Rewards quest.

You must find a way to animate the tome. You do this by placing it into the Anvil of Animatus in the Chamber of Animation. This is to the east of the Mouth of the Sanctum. The anvil is found on left side of the room as you are heading down.

This spawns an NPC version of the book that tells you to kill a scaleborn animator and 4 scaleborn sentinel builders. All of these spawn in the same room. After you've done this you have to examine the two pools in the room and then return to the Shade of Bylze for your reward and a very revealing twist regarding the shade's true identity. After this you should speak to Gribbly the Gallant in the cell nearby to initiate the Keys to Trust quest.

This is part of the Claymore Hallmark quest line.

The Keys to Trust:

Hailing Gribbly the Gallant in the jail cells initiates this quest. He asks you to kill Restrainer Drovbaazz to get his keys and to then take the keys to Lady Erollisi in Hidden Refuge in Tenebrous Tangle.

Lady Erollisi will thank you profusely and then send you back into the Scaleborn to speak with the Amygdalan Xhorroz. Amygdalan Xhorroz can be found in an alcove on the left side of the Invoker Pool room. He is hidden around the corner.

This quest is part of the Claymore Hallmark quest line.

An Uneasy Alliance:

This quest is initiated by talking to Xhorroz (located in the Fountain Room) once you have completed The Keys to Trust quest. (You might need the Thulian Language – see subquest).

Xhorroz wants you to retrieve some scrolls from a stone chest. The chest is located in the ring event pit in the Halls of Rites (do down from fountain room and then head North at the crossroads)

Inspect the chest to get an update. You need 4 eye gems to open the chest. Kill the marble aegis that surround the walls of the Hall of Rites for auto updates.

Once you have all 4 gems, return to the chest and retrieve your scroll.

Take the scroll back to Xhorroz for your reward. This then opens up the quest A Scalding Hot Encounter

 SubQuest:

 Fearful Words:

This quest is initiated by examining a Thulian Puzzle Box. This item drops randomly on monsters in the Temple of Cazic-Thule or Lizardmen in the Feerrott. After initiating the quest you must obtain and study 10 more Thulian Puzzle Boxes to complete the quest. The reward is teaching you the Lizardman language.

A Scolding Hot Encounter:

Xhorroz will give you this quest after An Uneasy Alliance .

The Scalding Hot Encounter involves finding and examine 3 sets of dread knights who spawn for people on the quest on three separate blue trap things in the hallways near The Hall of Rites. A Droag Skeleton will spawn, examine him and a group of 3 down arrow heroic mobs will spawn and attack if you are not invisible.

There is one on the left towards the Groag Pit (Loc = -33.04, 57.60, 227.04)

There is one on the way to the Spirit Pool (Loc = 59.19, 45.04, 101.48)

Go through the Hall of Rights and it's down the room on the right. Open the door and go into the hall and you will find it there this one is tricky you may need to get really close to get the update. (Loc = -59.39, 65.05, 57.90)
Do this at the 3 locations and then you have to search for the vault on a Big Gold Dragon Statue in The Hall of Rites.

This is the Big Gold Dragon Statue (duh!) as you enter The Hall of Rites. The Vault is on the back of the Big Gold Dragon Statue The lower panel closest to the gorg pit (the ring event, Sanctum Trial Stone) you can examine to update the quest. Return to Xhorroz for your reward.

Speak to Xhorroz again to open up Trading Information.

Trading Information:

Trading information first update is examining a book called The Chant of the Exarchs (Loc = -16.90, 58.35, -211.41) in the Exarch's Seclusion (the ones with the froggies just off the Hall of Rites).

After Examining the book The Chant of the Exarchs you must kill Exarch Trulnariz. Once you kill him you will need to find four keys from the Scaleborn Harbingers that spawn in the same room. This does not update every time.

After you get all the Keys from the Scaleborn Harbingers you go back to unlock the book The Chant of the Exarchs but it is too heavy So you need to get paper (8 Droag Wings, Any Droags) and chalk (8 Charcoal Clumps) These are located in the room to the right from the Exarch's Seclusion. It's called the Banisher Prepatory you will find the harvest items (Charcoal Clumps) in the sand by the eternal aegis. If you are having trouble getting the Charcoal Clumps in the Banisher Prepatory you can also get them in the sand in the Ready Room by the eternal aegis in that room.

Once you fine all the Chalk and Paper you need to go back to the Exarch's Seclusion and transcribe the tome.

After you Transcribe The Chant of the Exarchs you need to find a Droag who can help you translate the map. Take the map to a Scaleborn Blasphemer in the Scaleborn Cell.

I need to now venture to a Banishing Chamber and swipe a sacrificial blade from the Ceremony Weapon Rack (Loc = -173.96, 43.42, -180.69 this is in the Recovery Room) The Ceremony Weapon Rack is half way up the wall in the back of the room after The Book of Sacrifice. I then need to slay Scaleborn Ritualists and dip the blade into the corpses. The Scaleborn Ritualists can be found closest in The Hall of Rites. But can also be found in other places around The Sanctum of the Scaleborn such as the Pool of Spirits. Once you have killed enough Scaleborn Ritualists you need to put a sacrificial blade back into the Ceremony Weapon Rack. After you put a sacrificial blade back you need to go back to a Scaleborn Blasphemer in the Scaleborn Cell.

The Scaleborn Blasphemer sends you to get an empty archwraith crystal in the Reservoir of Wraith (Loc = 115.11, 36.86, -158.05) After your grab the empty archwraith crystal you need to destroy Tormented Wraiths until you one of their souls as a quest update. After you get the soul then you need to use the empty archwraith crystal to view at the Coded Map so that you can read it.

After you have read the Coded Map you need to hide the Coded Map somewhere.

Hide the Coded Map in the Talonflight Armory you can hide the Coded Map in The Tome of Scaleborn Tactics (Loc = -49.17, 128.86, 199.25) after you hide it return to Xhorroz to complete the quest.

The Riddle of the Vault:

This quest is give by examine the Vault in the Lair of Scale which is high above the Gorge Pit (examine the Celtic Knot on the floor at the very top where Cyenderos spawns Loc = 10.99, 121.41, 319.98) This will give you 4 clues to update. The 4 pillars on the platform you're on will have a mouse-over text on the back side of each, examine these to get the updates. (It's the Celtic knot pattern area of the column-facing the outside of the room...some of these are very hard to activate, just mouse-over slowly till you see the little title flag pop-up.)

You are now sent to retrieve 4 keys - these are updated by killing the Drakes on the floor below. This may take 1 or 2 spawns to get them all.
Hunt for the Copper Key (Loc =45.53 , 88.96, 249.63)
Kill the Furywing Drakota on the pedestal to get the key
Hunt for the Silver Key (Loc = -29.17, 88.98, 247.87)
Kill the Furywing Drakota on the pedestal to get the key
Hunt for the Black Key (Loc = -58.88, 88.98, 278.78)
Kill the Furywing Drakota on the pedestal to get the key
Hunt for the Gold Key (Loc = 25.39, 88.98, 255.29)
Kill Koturah the Furywing Drakota on the black pedestal to get the key

Once you have the keys, insert them in the Celtic knot, this then has you find the draconic staves. (The gold key is from Koturah the named drake, the other 3 are just normal updates off the other drakes.)

These are Ceremonial Darslayers, have a 5 min respawn, and are scattered throughout the Sanctum:

Once you get all four keys head back up to the Vault and try and open it. You are unable to turn the lock there is something written on the vault:

(You will need to speak Draconic to read the inscription on the Vault –see subquest)

"When the staves of the yore scales meet the vortex of scaleborn, When the four arms are raised, Only then shall the maw of fortune release itself."

Search Sanctum of the Scaleborn for Dragon Staves there are spread out the entire Sanctum.

Now you must find the four arms to raise near the titanic dragon pedestal.

After placing all these you need to raise the arms.... examine the pillar at the bottom center of the gorg pit. This initiates a timed quest. you have to hit all the buttons of a specific type in the time limit, doing so immediately initiates another timer for another set of buttons.
The order is white, black, red and blue. Do not let the quest text fool you though - graphically ALL the buttons are red. If you are having a hard time seeing them... Options > Model Detail > then increase the top two options. When you complete the first set, the timer for the second set begins.

**** First set (White)
1 east
1 west
2 south

****Second set (Black)
4 south

****Third set (Red)
4 east

****Fourth set (Blue)
4 West

White is the hardest as there are 2 runes on the south wall, and then 1 rune on the west and east walls.

the black dragon runes are on the south wall.
the red dragon runes are on the east wall
the blue dragon runes are on the west wall.

Once your try the Vault you are able to finish and get your reward you receive your choice of a legendary chest piece, a note from the palace, and a crystal of command but Three Green Dread knights pop on you one up arrow and two regular at level 70 you should have no problem.

Subquest:

To Speak as a Dragon

This lengthy quest allows you to speak the dragon tongue. This language is necessary to receive the Fire and Ice and Deception quests from Lord Nagafen.

The start of the Quest involves us to have at least a level 50 character to zone 12 individuals to Maiden's Gulch in Lavastorm. Our goal here is to defeat a named Drakota Vyr'drais the Vicious who guards the "Sage of the Ages" Defeat the Drakota to be able to speak to the sage.

After hailing the Sage, you will receive a lvl 50 hallmark Quest - "To Speak as a Dragon"

Our next goal is to venture deep Solusek's Eye and into Nagafen's Lair. If this is your first time in Nagafen's Lair you will be zoned into a single group instance of the zone named the Oratorium of Thyr, where you will have to fight your way through. There are ~15 level 50 ^^ mobs to be defeated, culminating with the Firelord. Whoever hails the Firelord will be banished to a cage, so you should probably have a healer or a caster do this. You will then have to kill his minions and then the Firelord himself. He is a ^^^ heroic mob. After defeating him you can use the door behind him to re-enter Solusek's Eye. After this you should head up the steps into Nagafen's Lair.

Once inside ole' Nagafen's Lair, You try hailing Nagafen and he won't respond to you because you don't know the language. You will then notice a Giant NPC who will talk to you. Speak to him to advance the quest. He will then tell you to look for another sage somewhere in Antonica. ** You MUST have giant language completed or else that giant won't respond to you! **

Head to the Oracle Tower in Antonica and speak to him. He'll explain how complicated the language is and it would take you forever to collect all the runes, however, you will convince him that you'll be able to do it etc.. He then sends you to collect 26 runes scattered all over Norrath.

Subquest #2:

Words of a Giant:

This quest is initiated by examining a Hill Giant Idol. These drop randomly on Giants on any zone.
You must collect and examine 5 more of these idols. Once you have examined the fifth you will be granted the ability to speak the Giant tongue.
The Giant language is needed for the Polished Granite Tomahawk heritage quest and for Drayek's Chamber access.

Return to Murrar Shar:

Upon completing Riddle of the Vault you receive a Note from the Palace this note is from High Priestess Harla Dar to Cyenadros which states:
Cyenadros, See to it that this crystal (a crystal of command that you also receive when opening the vault in the last quest) is destroyed after viewing its directive. We cannot have just any earth walker (you) prancing in here and dunking this gem into the spirit pool ( The Pool of Spirits)
- High Priestess Harla Dar of the Awakened

You need to Peer at the Crystal but unfortunately nothing happens so you need to find a place to Peer at the Crystal where it will do something. Go to The Pool of Spirits and jump into The Pool of Spirits examine the Crystal again to get the first update. The Crystal definitely has magical properties, if not some form of creature inside of it. I need to take this Crystal and toss it into some sort of pool of apparitions, ghosts, ancestors, spirits or something! So throw it into The Pool of Spirits.

After throwing the Gem into the pool, there is a spawn: Roughly translated Voice of the Sanctum, You have 1.5 min time to hail him.

Then return to the hidden refuge.

Expedition to the Barren Sky:

Your first task is to speak with the Elders in the Wind gazer hideout, which is located at the top of Whisperwind Island in the Barren Sky. They will request that you seek out The Gentle Breeze by defeating The Ghastly Overcast on Cloudmist Island. The Ghastly Overcast itself is level 66^, and is located in the foggy area in the center of Cloudmist Island. If it is not already up, you will have to clear the placeholders, the nebulous hazes, until it spawns. After defeating the Ghastly Overcast, the Gentle Breeze will spawn. He requests that you obtain some items for him:

-The first is 10 uncommon auto-updates from the burrowers on Blackwind Isle.

-The second is 10 uncommon auto-updates from the Bloodscale Breeders on the Isle of Awakening.

-The last is 20 updates that must be mined from the blast-filled rock on Isle of Awakening.

After collecting all the updates, you must return to the Gentle Breeze. You may have to kill the Ghastly Overcast again if the Gentle Breeze has already despawned. After speaking to the Gentle Breeze, return to the hooluk elders for your reward. This unlocks the 13th quest in the Claymore series, The Great Egg Hunt.

The Great Egg Hunt:

This is the 13th quest in the Qeynos Claymore series of quests. It is available after completing Expedition to the Barren Sky. It is initiated by speaking with High Guard Maverick at the Wind gazer Hideout in Barren Sky. If he is not at the hideout, he is currently captured and you will have to free him. This can be accomplished by heading to Prisoner Isle. Kill all the Wing Clippers on the island before they respawn to free him.

Once you have the quest, you must head to the Nest of the Great Egg, which is an instance zone in Barren Sky, near the Wind gazer Hideout. First you must collect six eggs for Maverick, all of which are ground spawns within the Nest. You can only see them if you are currently on The Great Egg Hunt. There appear to be at least three of each egg that spawn in random locations throughout the nest, so more than one person can complete this quest per instance. Once you have collected all six eggs, you must kill Chamberlain X'Haviz. Return to Maverick in Barren Sky for your reward. You may have to free him a second time if he's been captured again. This unlocks the 14th quest in the Claymore series, Scaled Salutations.

Scaled Salutations:

This quest is initiated by opening the book at -59.13, -0.13, +163.28 in the Palace of the Awakened.

Once in POA inspect the tome that is to the left of you once you zone in.

Reading thru the text should prompt you to collect book pages from the foyer. These spawn in the first hallway/foyer and you will need to wait for respawns if your doing this with a full group.

Once all pages are harvested you return to the tome, the tome asks that you find a Vault in the foyer. The hidden vault is actually a door on the other side of the cage from the book your standing at. Mouse over the door till you can click it and update you quest. You will receive a quill and your quest is complete.

The Quill of the Flock:

Inspect the quill you received in the previous quest. It will ask you to find a page to use it on. Return to the tome at the zone in and read thru the dialogue.

The tome asks you to retrieve 10 stolen scythes, these are from the palace guards in the foyer but they are not an auto update. Slay them till everyone in-group has all 10. We also found that not everyone gets the same updates. After you have all 10 you will be prompted to place the scythes, before doing this clear the foyer and the room after to the left after the foyer.

In the first room are two statues you have to mouse over them till you get a message that is different then just the statues name. you will place both sets of scythes. This initiates a 5 Minute timer. You need to slay the champions and take there weapons. These champions spawn down the foyer.

Once all are slain you will need to place the spears in the racks, this is the room to the left of the foyer and hanging on the wall are the 4 racks.

After you have placed all the spears you will be asked to retrieve you reward from the chest, the chest is in the foyer to the right of the zone in behind the statue.

Visage of Aeristock:

This is the 16th quest in the Qeynos Claymore series of quests.

It is available after completing The Quill of the Flock. It starts by reading the Book of Salutations in the foyer of Palace of the Awakened. Next, inspect the Visage of Aeristok in the center of the fountain on the first floor of the Palace.

Once you inspect the Visage of Aeristok, you have to collect six Eyes of Aeristok, which are ground spawns that must be harvested throughout the first floor of the palace. There are three in each wing. There appear to be multiple spawn points for each eye. They're rather hard to miss, since they glow extremely brightly and appear to show up onscreen at quite a distance.

After collecting all six eyes, you must kill Palace Sentinels and/or Vigilants for six uncommon auto updating pieces. (If you are doing this as a group - this is another quest in the series where one may get the update while another group member will not.) The drop rate is somewhat low; 25% or less. After getting all six auto updates, return to the Visage of Aeristok and place the eyes in the base of the statue. Doing so spawns a level 67^^ named ghost, The Visage of Aeristok. Kill him to complete the quest. Return again to the tome in the foyer.

This unlocks the 17th quest in the Claymore series, The Maiden's Reception.

The Maiden’s Reception:

You may receive this quest after completing The Visage of Aersterok. This is 17th quest in the Claymore hallmark quest series.

Return to the tome in the foyer of Palace of Awakening to continue this series. The tome tells you to find clues of the 4 Maidens of Theer.

These are statues on the second floor circling the center of the rotunda. There are 6 statues but only 4 give you the updates. After you inspect all 4 you will need to inspect them again. You will receive 4 sub quests.

18. An Appetite for Coajutants
19. An Appetite for Partisans
20. An Appetite for Initiates
21. An Appetite for Palace Knights

There was and may still be a bug with the order you accept the quests. Just make sure you pick an appetite for palace knights as you last quest and you should be fine. Complete all the subquests by killing mobs with the same names. Initiates were easier to find on the first floor in the wings. Each member of the group gets different amounts of kill updates needed so some may need more updates than others unless this has recently been changed.

Once you have your kill updates turn them in to the appropriate statues. You will then be asked to walk the circle to claim your reward. All you need to do here is stand on the circle that is under the climbable wall near the statues. This makes 4 suits of armor spawn, they are all linked. You have 5 minutes to kill them. Once dead you are rewarded with a star key. Examine this to start the next quest in the series, A Star to Unlock.

SUBQUEST #1:

An Appetite for the Palace Guards:

You must kill 8 palace knights or 8 palace guards.

SUBQUEST #2:

An Appetite for Black Talon Coadjutants:

You must kill 6 Blacktalon Coadjutants.

SUBQUEST #3:

An Appetite for Blacktalon Partisans:

You must kill 7 Partisans.

SUBQUEST #4:

An Appetite for Blacktalon Initiates:

You must kill 9 Blacktalon Initiates.

A Star to Unlock:

This is the 22nd quest in the Claymore Hallmark Quest Series. You can begin this quest after completing The Maiden's Reception and receiving a fragmented star key. As the previous few, this quest takes place in Palace of the Awakened, Barren Sky.

You are asked to find a source of information on how to assemble the star key. The source is a is a book on the hanging bookcases behind the blue invisible wall on the 3rd floor. Kill the flying tomes to gain access (we just cleared the entire floor). Mouse over the middle bookcase should be the second shelf from the bottom you will be able to inspect.

It asks you to reforge the key, go to the Workshop at the end of the hallway (the hall leading to the dragon). You need to kill several crafters, tinkers, and the taskmaster (ph for Warden) as well as the Named Warden. He is on a 25 minute timer IIRC with a place holder at the bottom of the climbable wall. You will also need to harvest some gears off the tables. These respawn fairly quickly.

Once you have the gears and the kill updates you will need to use the table in the workshop to forge the key. Once you have the reforged key inspect it. It will give you a clue of roses. Go back to the 2nd floor and inspect the two statues that you didn’t need for the Maidens quest. (Second floor, near the climbable wall)

Go back to the 3rd floor and inspect the book of Arryonar with an A. This will begin a series of tasks.

First task is to collect crystals from the baths. The baths are the long pools in the wings of the first floor and the ones in the hallways of the dragon towers. The crystals are harvestable. The only issue with crystals is there a time sink if everyone in your group needs as they do not respawn right away. Once you harvest one it spawns in a different area in the palace. Be prepared to spend time on this step. We found it easier to just run from bath to bath kill all the mobs in between.

Once you have all of your crystals you will need to kill Iron Fang. (OH JOY) Iron Fang is on the 4th floor once you come up the wall - he is the snake that spawns in the center caged room. You will need to clear the ghosts in the right and left rooms, 25 minutes later either Iron Fang on PH will spawn. (This mob has taken 4 days to surface for some. We got lucky and had a server down in the evening and we camped at the wall behind him.)

Once Iron Fang is dead you will need to kill some Defenders of Naaryora. These are on the very top floor where the Enmity spawns. The Defenders can be found in the alcoves. These updates came fairly quickly.

After that update is complete it will ask you to place the 4 crystals. You will need to head to the green dragon tower. In there is a Deliberation chamber (just look for another circle on the floor). Walk into the circle and get your update. It then asks you to kill a powerful advisor. He is the named bird at the bottom of the climbable wall.

Once you kill the Advisor speak to the First Shard of Aaryonar that spawns in the circle. Your quest is now complete.

6 O’Flock High:

This is the 23rd quest in the Claymore Hallmark Quest Series. It continues in Palace of Awakened. You being this quest after completing A Star to Unlock.

For this quest MAKE SURE you do not have any gems that came from the dragon room numbered 1 - 6. You will need to go to your bank and destroy them before doing this step.

Go to the green dragon room. Inspect the banner in the room. Then inspect the book on banners in the same tower. Clear the room until you have LOOTED all 6 gems. Gem number 5 only drops off the dragon so be prepared to camp this for awhile for a full group. You will then need to place the gems in the correct order in the banners. This is an important step. If you mess it up you will have to recamp your gems.

The order is 1, 2, 3, 6, 5, 4 from left to right in that exact order

After placing the gems in the banners, inspect the book on eggs on the west side of the room. Examine the key. Go down to the floor under the dragon and clear to the NE corner room. Inspect the chest inside and get an update and egg. Examine the egg. Kill Bloodscale Councilors for the egg crusher update.

Once you get the update inspect the egg and crush it to receive the Fang of Aaryonar.

After getting the fang it asks you to locate the second circle of naar'yora. This up the climbable wall behind Iron Fang. The circle is in the center of the room. Once you have that update it will ask you to slay the mob that guards the circle. This is Skylord Stormclaw. He is either a 15 to 25 minute spawn with a PH. We found it easiest to just clear the room a few times.

Once Skylord is dead talk to the shard that spawns in the circle. quest complete.

Audience with Aaryonar:

This quest is the 24th in the Claymore Hallmark Quest Series. This quest is initiated by inspecting a dragon mount bust in Palace of the Awakened, after completing 6 O'Flock High.

The dragon bust is on the wall upstairs from where the Skylord spawns. It asks you to find the eyes of aaryonar. If you go to the green dragon tower and climb up the wall and climb 3/4 of the ways up you will see a bust. you need to inspect the bust and take the eyes. We found it easier to climb all the way up and go to the back and inspect it by looking down in first person.

Once you have taken the eyes you are prompted to get 2 golden feathers from aviak felines. These are the merciless pets in the Skylord room. Then you take the elevator back up and place the feathers to the left and right of the dragon bust of aaryonar. There are two statues on either side, inspect them and you can place the feathers.

You will then need to slay Naar'Yora Philosophers. These are located in the alcoves with the bookcases. You will need to clear the PH's until you get them to spawn. Each alcove gives you an update for one book. Death, Arcana, War and Harmony. Once you have all the kill updates you are asked to place the books on the shelves.

After placing the books you will be prompted to locate the fangs of aarryonar in the gem beds around the palace. The gem beds are the small blue and white vase's that are around the palace - they look like they have hands rising out of them (or like swans). They have gems in them as well.

The gems are a click able update so no more spawning of harvestable items. There are 20 gems.

3 Gems are in located in the Skylord room
4 Gems are in the Gym Hall (green dragon area)
2 Gems in the Hatchery
3 Gems on the floor under the green dragon area
4 Gems in the Lyceum of Naaryora (think blue dragon area)
4 Gems in the Hall to the Blue dragon.

Once you have the gems return to the first dragon bust. Insert the fangs and the eyes and you are ready for the last step.

Go up to area where the Enmity of Aaryonar spawns. The floor directly under where it spawns is where you need the update. The trick is once you get the update you need to slay the Enmity. You can either clear around it if its up and then rush to center all get update and then kill or clear get update and wait for respawn. Once Enmity is dead speak with the shard and get your awesome reward.

The Riddle of Razorwing (Epic x2):

This quest is initiated by examining the statue of Razorwing in the center of the first floor of Ascent of the Awakened. Ascent is a zone populated entirely with Epic mobs, and the mobs you will need to clear to complete this quest are all epic x2, with a LOT of health.

After you inspect the statue, you are required to harvest a number of ground spawn items on the first, and then the second floor. The items on the first floor are shiny wisps, easy to spot, and respawn fast. Those on the second floor are tiny replicas of dragon fangs that you have seen as decor in many KoS zones, and are extremely difficult to spot. Additionally, you will need to be standing nearly on top of them to harvest them.

Once you have harvested all the objects that are required, return to the statue of Razorwing on the first floor to complete the quest and open up the next quest, The Bowels of Bonemire.

The Bowels of Bonemire (Heroic/Last Named Epic x2):

This quest is yet another of the epic "Claymore" line of quests. It can be obtained from Jabber Longwind once you have completed "The Riddle of Razorwing" in Ascent of the Awakened.

After talking to Jabber, you first need to find the entrance to The Den of the Devourer at the bottom of the "Hive" on Drednever Crash Site in Bonemire. You should get an update as soon as you near the entrance.

Next, you need to enter the Den and fight your way through it, finding ten NPC "Tomes" as you progress. These tomes are actual non-aggro Mobs with names such as "Volume I" "Volume IX" "Volume V" etc. They do seem to respawn inside the instance, and the order you kill them is not important. It is important to kill all ten tomes before you kill The Devourer, as killing him is next and last step you will need in the Den.

Next, you need to kill the following named mobs in the Bonemire:

The Carnovingian
The Carrion Mandragora
The Acrid Mother
The Humator Harridan
Haraghur the Deathless (Epic x2)

All of the above mobs are fairly easily killed with a good group, except for Haraghur, who is a 72x2 Epic mob who spawns every couple of days on The Cacotoxic Stain. He will require a raid of two full groups.

Once you have defeated all of these mobs, return to Murrar Shar in Tenebrous Tangle to complete the quest.

Feeding the Flames:

This is another quest in the epic "Claymore" quest line. It becomes available once you have completed "The Bowels of Bonemire".

It starts by inspecting one of the flaming sconces on the floor of the Atrium of Kildrukaun, which is at the bottom of the first staircase inside Halls of Fate.

Your task is to kill 20 Doomwing droags for common updates. This goes fairly fast, and any sort of droag in Halls seems to work. It's important to note that you will probably not want to kill the named Droag nearby, as you will need them for the next quest while you are still in Halls.

Once you have gotten your updates, inspect the sconce again to complete the quest, and open up the next three quests, Obscuring Knowledge, Reclaiming the Totems, and Beyond Death's Door which are started by inspecting the other 3 sconces to the right of the one you just clicked.

Obscuring Knowledge:

This is another in the "Claymore" line of epic quests. It becomes available once you have completed "Feeding the Flames".

It is initiated by clicking one of the four sconces in the first Atrium area of Halls of Fate. Yonar the Dromunculus spawns and tasks you with sealing the Prismatic Lexicons within the Halls of Fate. These are oversized tomes that are tucked in various corners and nooks inside the instance. After collecting all ten tomes, you will then be required to obtain ten more in The Laboratory of Lord Vyemm, the Epic raid instance.

Reclaiming the Totems:

This is another quest in the "Claymore" epic quest line. It is started by clicking on one of the sconces in the first Atrium area in the Halls of Fate once you have completed "Feeding the Flames".

To complete the quest, you need to kill the following named mobs in the Halls of Fate. They are:

Doom Guard Tammuz
Doom Guard Vimock
Jin'Tiz the Cataloguer
Ishtan the Skarize
Sothis

Once you have killed the mobs, your final task is to kill Doom Lord Septimus, who is at the very bottom of the instance. Kill him to complete the quest and claim your reward.

Beyond Death’s Door (Epic x4):

This is another quest in the epic "Claymore" line. You get it by clicking on one of the sconces in the Atrium of Kildrukaun, which is the first round room in the Halls of Fate once you have completed "Feeding the Flames".

The first step is to enter Deathtoll, the epic raid zone on the Carrion Briar in The Bonemire. You will either need to have completed Deathtoll access at this point, or be grouped with someone who has.

Once you enter, you are tasked with confirming six locations inside Deathtoll. They are:

The Pit of Barbs
The Tears of Rage
The Lair of the Soulless
The Archive of the Wyrm
The Flensing Chamber
The Altar of Ending

These locations are found in a linear manner as your raid party progresses through Deathtoll, and you will update accordingly. Once you have confirmed all of these locations, you are charged with killing Fitzpitzle, a level 74 epic gnome with adds. He lives in the Archive of the Wyrm, which will require some backtracking to get to if you get your last update in the Lair of the Soulless, where Tarinax the Destroyer resides. Once Fitzpitzle is destroyed, you will need to move forward once again to destroy Tarinax.

He is a level 75x4 skeletal dragon, and one of the hardest encounters in the game at this time. A full raid party is required.

The Final Report:

This quest becomes available after completion of "Beyond Death's Door". It begins in Halls of Fate, in the Atrium of Kildrukaun, which is the first round room inside Halls of Fate.

You need to spawn Yonar the Dromunculus and hail him to start the quest. You or someone in your group will need the Totem of Aaryonar you received as a reward earlier in the Claymore line in your inventory.

Yonar can be spawned by repeating "Feeding the Flames", which starts on the left-most flaming sconce. Completion of this quest will spawn Yonar, who tasks you with heading to the Hidden Refuge in Tenebrous Tangle and reporting to your home city's representative to present a report on Deathtoll. Talking to your city's representative completes the quest and opens up the final quest in the Claymore line, "A Final Froglok Word

This is another of the "Claymore" epic quest line.

A Final Froglok Word:

This quest begins and ends by talking to Lady Erillis in the Hidden Refuge in Tenebrous Tangle, and completes the epic "Qeynos Claymore" quest line. She reveals some interesting information regarding the Claymore and the Awakened, and then offers you a choice of final rewards, weapons of amazing power and quality.
